Black and Tan Summer Doldrums

Thing definitely slow down in the summer, even my beer drinking. That doesn't make sense does it!? However, I was able to try a few black and tan beer combinations over the last few weeks with the beer layering tool.  Click on the pictures to see a larger version. 

•  Killian's Irish Red & Shiner Black Lager:   The separation between the beers worked out well.  Looks great doesn't it?  My daughter picked up the Shiner Black Lager beer glass when she toured the Shiner Brewery (www.shiner.com) a few weeks ago. 
  
• Rahr & Sons Bucking Bock and Guinness Draught: Very nice beer layering with this combination.  Calling it the TripleBee (Black Bucking Bock).
  
• Franzishaner Weissbier and Guinness Draught: This black and tan combination turned out OK but the separation layer was somewhat fuzzy
