Vacation Black and Tans

Even on vacation I'm trying out different layered beer combinations.  I picked up some beer before crossing the border into Canada as beer in Canada is a lot more expensive than in the US.  I had mixed results but when experimenting on a balcony overlooking the beach I didn't mind at all. 

The Sinister Black Ale from the 10 Barrel Brewing Co worked well under the Alaskan White.  The Red Ale from 10 Barrel Brewing sort of layered under the Stanley Park Brewery's Noble Pilsner but the color difference wasn't that good.
