It was recently brought to our attention that the small instruction card that ships with the beer layering tool could be better. Specifically, it described how to make a classic Black and Tan with Guinness Draught and Bass Ale but didn't really highlight the layering principles involved or the need to experiment.
After considering this for a little while, we decided to put together an instruction webpage to give some guidance on how to pour a great layered beer. You can find the new instructions page here.
